Who do you work with?

For coaching and mentoring, I work with all types of therapist, regardless of how much CranioSacral Therapy they have studied.

Regarding bodywork, I work with people of all ages - from pregnant women to newborn one-day old infants to those preparing to die. And everyone in between.

What types of problems do you help?

My specialties include:

  • Headaches, migraines and temporal mandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunctions
  • Neurological problems, including ADD, ADHD, depression, tinnitus and vertigo
  • Structural problems, including neck, back feet and shoulders
  • Injury and surgery recovery
  • Emotional and nutritional stresses

I have a wide range and variety of tools that can help almost every system of your body. In particular because the CranioSacral Therapy and NeuroStructural Release work that I do addresses the nerves in your body I can directly and indirectly effect all your organs and muscles.

I continue to study and learn new techniques on a regular basis. In sessions, I combine and blend the techniques as needed to help your specific problem. And I will be the first to tell you if I don’t thing I can be of help and will gladly refer you to an appropriate therapist.

Do you do phone or Skype sessions?

Yes I do phone sessions and when appropriate I am able to do Skype sessions. Please contact me to make arrangements.

Do you take credit cards?

At this time only cash and checks are accepted payment methods for sessions, coaching and mentoring. For payments for classes I do take PayPal payments, which can be billed to your credit card. Please inquire if you would like to pay for a class using your credit card.

What is your fee?

For coaching, mentoring and phone sessions my fee is $85 per hour. For bodywork my sliding scale fee for a one hour session is $65 - $90. (If I was working in a city my rate would be $90.) The sliding scale fee for a 90 minute session (1 1/2 hours) is $95 - $135.

Are you licensed?

Yes, I am licensed. I am licensed in the states of Maryland and Wisconsin. Currently Michigan does not have licensure for bodyworkers or massage therapists. When Michigan does implement licensure I will also hold that license.

Does insurance cover your services?

Whether or not insurance covers my services depends upon your insurance policy, if treatment is medically necessary or if your situation is due to an accident. My fees are payable at time of service and I am happy to provide you with receipts for your sessions.

What are your hours?

I see clients Monday through Friday. First session generally starts at 9 or 9:30 AM and last session generally starts at 4 or 4:30 PM. All sessions are by appointment only. Some same day appointments may be available. Please call and check. I do my best to see clients in a timely manner.

What do those initials behind your name mean?

CST-D refers to my status as a Diplomate Certified CranioSacral Therapist. Through the Upledger Institute, there are two levels of certification, Techniques and Diplomate. Diplomate is the higher of the two. Many therapists learn craniosacral therapy, however very few go through the examination process to become certified.

NCTMB refers to being Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. This is a requirement for being licensed as a massage therapist or bodyworker in Maryland and many other states. And yes, I am licensed in the states of Maryland and Wisconsin.

BFRP stands for Bach Foundation Registered Practitioner. This is the certification for a practitioner using the Bach Flower Essences. There are three of us in Michigan who hold this certification, among hundreds throughout the world.
